Happy Birthday Johnny Crawford

I have been watching the available episodes of The Rifleman on Hulu for awhile. I am into the second season. "Mark McCain," Johnny Crawford, turns 66 today. These days he has an orchestra that plays the great music from the 20s and 30s. I posted a little about this on March 13: Nothing Important/Random Memories

Myself and my brothers were big 'Rifleman' fans , back in '59.
I was 11 years old and pictured myself in Johnny Crawfords fole as Mark.
Boy, did I envy him. Back in the fifties every kid wanted to be a cowboy, or cowpoke.
Happy to hear Johnny is doing well.
The years are passing so fast.
I enjoy the old episodes of 'anything' from the fifties.

I met Johnny Crawford last night when his wife asked me to take a photo of their family inside the Main Entrance at Disneyland. She mentioned nothing about his Rifleman role, but did tell me I was taking a photo of a Mouseketeer. I was floored. I shook his hand, and the whole family was just so polite and lovely. I found out we share a birthday, March 26, several years apart.
